One of our co-founders, Chris Polmans, is known in the Netherlands as the Estonia-expert. Thanks to his expertise he has organized many business trips to Estonia, and has he stated DCG Trips.

Recently we decided to apply the same model which we perfectioned for our business trips to Estonia Internationally to the Middle East and Central Asia, and of course to our home country in the Netherlands. Thanks to the fact that we have teamed up with ITIC Global (The International Trade and Investment Center) who has organized many business trips themselves as well, do we now have the expertise in house to best organize your business trips. During our trips we focus on three things. Firstly of all we want you to understand the country and its culture. Secondly do we want you to understand what the strengths are of the country, or more specific all the ins and outs of the specific sector or industry we are visiting. Thirdly do we want to help you closing deals and executing your projects. This means we do not focus on match making (which we also facilitate), but we focus mainly on deal closing and projects. Hence we can help you to find local partners, help you with distribution and in- and export, find suitable suppliers, or help you with how and where to locate your business. Chris Polmans has organized business trips to Estonia since 2015. After his research in 2014 on how to select the right countries and suppliers to do business with for VDL ETG, where he was responsible for researching the potential for reshoring the production from China to the Middle East, he got very much engaged with the subject of market selection, supplier selection and outsourcing. This led to his future research on strategic alliances, outsourcing, supplier selection ans supplier relations.

Next to our big network internationally, because of which we are able to open a lot of doors, we are also capable in making sure our customers can make sense of their experiences, by placing them in the right perspective. We provide our customers with a proper lens through which the country can be viewed.

As the most difficult thing is the followup, which usually does not happen when people go on business trips, we decided to focus on deal making, projects and follow ups, raher than on the business trips alone. A business trip is a good way to get a good taste of the country and spot the opportunties, but this short period is never enough to do everything, close the deals and get it all done. Thanks to our local network and expertise on the countries we work with we can help you to accomplish this.

When going on inspiration trips we therefore also offer our customers the opportunity to implement their desired changes back home. We believe that by means of alignment between the strategy, structure, culture, and supportive means (like reward systems) the right environment can be created to reach the aims and objectives within an organization.
